The model 1070-00 workspace telecommunications enclosure is ideal for structured

cabling and Fiber-to-the-Enclosure (FTTE) deployments. This enclosure offers

flexibility by securing networking and A/V components in the workspace where they

are needed. Mounting access switches in the workspace brings bandwidth closer to

the user, and reduces congestion in the telecom room. The model 1070 enclosure

mounts in a standard 2 ft. x 2 ft. ceiling gridwork, and has a clean aesthetic style

created to blend into any building design. The enclosure's highly perforated

14-gauge powder-coated aluminum door allows for quiet, fanless airflow to cool

enclosed equipment. De-rate networking equipment by 13ºF (comparable to the

temperature rise in an open rack). The 16-gauge power-coated aluminum backbox

opening includes a standard (1U) rack-mountable patch panel and a CCH fiber optic

adapter panel (not included). It is designed to accommodate up to two standard

(1U) rack-mountable components.

The model 1072-00 is a locking 2 ft. x 2 ft. ceiling tile

telecommunications

enclosure designed for multiple networking components including wireless access

points, DAS remote access units, smaller access switches, fiber optic adapter

panels and rack-mounted patch panels. The enclosure includes a universal

mounting plate for access points and 19 in. brackets for rack-mountable

components ((2U) deep equipment, opening in backbox for 19 in. patch panel). It

has a fully hinged locking door, keyed alike with a 24 in. x 24 in. flange. This

aesthetic, white, powder-coated aluminum enclosure with a 14-gauge backbox has

openings in the 12-gauge door for up to thirteen external 802.11 or cellular

antennas. No ceiling tile cuts are required for installation. OSHPD approved OPA

#1638 (up to 25 lb. total weight).
