used in conjunction with lower-cost 1000BASE-T switches, users can take advantage

of the high bandwidth Gigabit Ethernet offers without all of the higher costs. Optional

single-strand media converters allow you to double your fiber capacity by

transmitting and receiving data over one strand of fiber.
